Colligo ContributorTM is an easy-to-deploy .NET client application that extends the power of Microsoft Office SharePoint® to the desktop. The Add-in syncs SharePoint document libraries to Outlook folders. Content can be available online-only or cached for offline access. Emails and attachments can be moved or copied with a simple drag-and-drop or by setting Outlook rules. The Add-in captures standard message fields, synchronizing them to SharePoint. Custom metadata can be instantly applied.

Content is organized using the same standard and custom views defined on the server. Variables ([Me] and [Today]) enable desktop views to change depending on the user and date. Multi-value lookups are also supported. Metadata changes can be made online or offline, to one or multiple documents simultaneously.

Contributor syncs document libraries, content types, forms, and picture libraries to the desktop. Documents and InfoPath forms are edited by double-clicking and saving back to Contributor. New documents can be created using form templates or by using "Save As" from existing documents. Files are added with a simple drag-and-drop.

Users can select content from a specific view, folder, document library, or an entire SharePoint site. When online, content is kept current with automatic background sync based on startup and configurable time intervals. Accessing a list or making changes immediately triggers synchronization. Basic Check Out & Check In and Microsoft Word® compare and merge support content locking and conflict resolution.

Super simple to deploy - Contributor is a client-only solution that works with any existing SharePoint site (WSS 3.0, WSS 2.0, MOSS 2007, SPS 2003). It is very quick and easy to deploy with a small 4.7 MB install package (including database). Deployment options allow SharePoint Administrators to easily pre-configure sites for synching, set automatic sync intervals, configure storage locations, and more. SharePoint Administrators can quickly support diverse SharePoint users in various locations, working online and offline.
